New obligations for students: Student@work

As of 1 January 2012, the National Social Security Office has been using a new monitoring tool for the maximum number of days for student part-timers. This is called the “student work counter” of the NSSO, which registers each Dimona declaration. This tool allows students and employers to check how many days the student can still work as a student part-timer.

To view the counter, a student part-timer has to access Student@work>, the new interactive website of the NSSO. You can access the website using your electronic ID or by creating a new user name.

You can download your Student certificate on Student@work (a pdf file including the number of days). It is very important to deliver this certificate to Tentoo immediately before starting work as a student in order to comply with the new rules. This certificate will replace the declaration on honour.

This process – accessing, checking the number of days worked and downloading the student certificate as a pdf file – can be completed in a few minutes. We will include a link to Student@work on our website.

Keep your number of days up-to-date. If you have filed a Dimona declaration for a number of working days and you eventually worked fewer days, it is important to notify Tentoo as soon as possible to correct your number of days on Student@work.

New website

Tentoo is launching a new website in accordance with the new house style of the company. The website is intended to facilitate access and to offer as much relevant information as possible. My.tentoo will also receive a new look, but the applications will not be changed.
